I would suggest testing to make sure that Flash can display the desired Chinese characters from your ArialUnicodeMS font.
Then, I would examine the output PDF to make sure it is trying to use ArialUnicodeMS font. Then, I would make sure your PDF reader has installed ArialUnicodeMS font and can use it.
