Hmmmm...I'll have to look into this one a little bit. I have never read about doing Basic Authorization with JavaScript, all of the examples I am aware of use PHP because I think you need server side code to do the authorization, but I'm sure there is more than one way to do it. I'll do a little research. Thanks for the idea!
