I understand. My opinion is that this problem is a constraint satisfaction  
problem. I wonder if this problem can be naturally modeled with gecode  
(without reading all the 504 pages...)  Without spending too much time on this 
problem, do you have an opinion on this question (just requesting  an advice, 
not a gecode prototype) ?
