I am still a bit puzzled, I thought the AFC for a variable is an integer -- certainly the code I use to get AFC returns an integer (using IntVar::afc()), but the a in afc_set(a) is a double. Has the internal representation of AFC changed from integer to double? Is this related to the introduction of the decay factor -- without the decay factor, it seems to me that the AFC need only be integer.
