Hi Marc, I already have that selected but that I don't get the icon appearing in the system tray at all. I have toggled the setting numerous times to no avail.
I appear to have discovered one of life's little mysteries :-) I can live without it for now. My intention is to do a fresh installation when openSUSE 11.4 comes out in March because I am going to do some re-partitioning at the same time. Perhaps a fresh start will resolve it, but not too important right now. Thanks to you and Fabián for your help with this.
