Can't this be done in Page Set-up? "Fit to 1 page" or something? I haven't tried this for a long time so it could have vanished as described. Regards from Tom :)

The problem is not new to LibO, and has existed for a while now in the OOo code base. I had forgotten about it until last week when I myself tried reducing the size of a spreadsheet for printing and could no longer find the options for doing so in the LibO OSX print dialog.
