Hi :) Have you tried renaming the config folder for LibO? It should be in the /home/username but you will need to sudo it because it's a system folder and might be hidden. The command is likely to be something like
sudo mv /home/ZenWiz/.LibreOffice /home/ZenWiz/.LibreOffice-2010-01-16 I like using reverse date order to keep track of my back-ups! I am guessing your username is ZenWiz but change that if not. Also i don't know what the config folder is called. Usually they are something sensible like that and the . at the front is used by the system so it knows it's a hidden system folder. This is often a way of forcing a program to create a new config folder and forces it back to defaults. If it doesn't work then just copy your backup back overwriting the newer one. Regards from Tom :) ________________________________ From: MR ZenWiz <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tue, 18 January, 2011 20:28:59 Subject: [libreoffice-users] Instant crash on startup This has happened to me twice now. When I open a document in writer and it is the first LO open of anything on my system, writer comes up, shows the window and then crashes before the cursor appears in the window. When I restart it, it comes up in the document recovery window, recovers the document just fine and then runs as if nothing happened.
