Hi :) Yes there is or should be a rush.
Several staunch linux distro that have years between their new releases are due to release within the next few weeks. The number 1 desktop distro releases in a few months but needs us to have had a proper release fairly soon if they are to include us. If we can't get a release out quickly while people are talking about us then it is going to be difficult in a few months time because people will have moved on to other hot topics. Would bug-fixes stop? Or do we plan to have 1 stable release and 1 development branch or something? Or would bug-fixes be shelved until after release date? I am sure our clever developers have plenty of ideas about all that and which route they would prefer. Regards from Tom :) ________________________________ From: MR ZenWiz <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tue, 18 January, 2011 23:46:54 Subject: Re: [libreoffice-users] release schedule?
