Hi,
I frequently run into the problem where Writer will freeze up when I
have a full page of text about to spill into the next page. The page
number in the status bar will just go back and forth (e.g., flickering
between 9 and 10 out of 10 pages) and I have to kill the process. It
happens especially in documents with many columns. Is there a good
workaround/bug report for this? It's been fairly persistent across
versions and plagued open office, too and my searches have turned up empty.
