And noticed that i could not copy/past things in another application while LO was hanging on the save-as-doc. What happens if you select AND copy the complete document before saving it as *.doc? (i mean doing CTRL+A followed by CTRL+C ) In my tests, on Windows, things started to work like they should. If this works for you to i will update the bug with this info...
