One thing I noticed is, that there are no icons for the office
applications. It's not a must have but would be nicer...
My system:
OS: Linux 2.6.34.7-0.7-desktop x86_64
System: openSUSE 11.3 (x86_64)
KDE: 4.4.4 (KDE 4.4.4) "release 3"
I get that type of list when I install anything in Ubuntu.
I get this "error" before I install LibreOffice.
It is a part of Linux looking for "mime" types and such, or something
like that.
So it is not a LibreOffice issue.
After you do the install for both the program and the desktop_integration,
do you see LibreOffice in your list of programs? I use Ubuntu and after I
install LibreOffice, I see LibreOffice in my "Applications/Office"
menu. I then
right click the name of the program and select "add this launcher to the
desktop"
option. That will place the LibreOffice icon on the desktop for the
selected
program. I select Writer and leave the rest of the LibreOffice list off my
desktop to save space.
I hope that may help you. It have been a long time since I used openSUSE,
but there should be some similar way to get the menu list to your desktop.
