I also prefer yyyy-mm-dd (ISO format). I solved this by setting LO's
Locale setting (Tools/Options/Language Settings) to Canada.
Wolfgang might prefer Swedish since it keeps comma as decimal separator.
Since I live in Malaysia I must keep the dot as decimal operater ==> I
am now using Canada.
