Hi :) [1] - http://documentation.openoffice.org/tutorials/index.html [2] - http://www.tutorialsforopenoffice.org/ [3] - http://www.learnopenoffice.org/ [4] - http://inpics.net/
Those four sites keep appearing in the lists. Even though some sites claim to be only for OpenOffice it is generally fairly identical for LibreOffice except that LibreOffice has a couple more features (such as svg graphics). Regards from Tom :) ________________________________ From: James Wilde <[email protected]> To: "Stevens, Leon" <[email protected]> Cc: [email protected] Sent: Wed, 2 March, 2011 21:06:44 Subject: [libreoffice-users] Re: Commands available for [email protected] You have sent your answer only to me, Leon, so I'm replying and at the same time sending your mail to our user mail list. That's where the experts hang out, all of them users of LibreOffice, none of them employees, just willing volunteers. Keep an eye on the list for answers to your question, and please ensure you reply to all users, so that your replies go back to the list. You can also access the list via a forum-like interface at http://www.documentfoundation.org/nabble (You'll have to sign in to post) List members please note to include Leon's email address in replies as he is not at the moment subscribed to the list. //James On Mar 2, 2011, at 21:43 , Stevens, Leon wrote: > I teach at a small university, and I'm looking for information. > > I've downloaded the documentation for LibreOffice, and it looks very, very >good. > > We're considering not joining the herd, we're considering teaching Writer, >Calc, and Base, instead of MS Office, and we'd like to consider using the >documentation as a base document. > > Question: Has anyone written a textbook, using the documentation as a >foundation, which would give additional information, practice problems, and >the >like? > > Leon Stevens, PhD > Assoc.
