Hi all
I am tearing my hair out. LibeOffice has the Presenter Console announced
and installed in 3.3.1
I try tu use it with a Impress presentation but I can not find anything
that says Presenter Console anywhere in the program, Helpfiles or
documentation.
I am using LibreOffice 3.3.1, Windoze XP SR3, on a Dell Vostro 1510 with
an NVidia card
I have tried the following:
1. I set my displays to be extended to the second monitor. That works
and I can move my mouse pointer right across so the projector screen.
Then I open the LibreOffice presentation and I find the Slideshow >
Slideshos settings. I dont find anything about a presenter console there
by the way. I set the Presentation Display setting to all displays.
(this seems to be the only setting that relates to the topic.) The I
click ok and F5 to run the slideshow. The slide show starts on my main
monitor (the laptop) no Presentation Console anywhere. The second
display (the projector) is still as before.
I can not test under XP but I had no problem using Ubuntu. First you
have to find out where the extra monitor is seen by LibO. For me it was
listed as 'primary'. Instead of using the "All displays" setting you
set it for the, in my case, Primary. Start the slide show and the slide
show runs on the 'primary' display and the Presenter runs on the
'secondary' display.
