Yes, this is not much typing effort, but in my view the main
advantage of a macro is it can be connected to a button. Then you
can do a special paste by mouse click without breaking the workflow
while using the mouse. I often miss this function when preparing
Impress slides or copying text snippets from other documents.

If you succeed in writing this macro, please, publish it on this
list. In the past, already several people had asked for it.
