Yep. Found the old bug that I participated in: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shared-mime-info/+bug/193325 See comments #29,30 & 35. You can test easily by: $ sudo apt-get -s remove kdelibs5-data Be *sure* to use the '-s' which mean 'simulate' so that nothing actually gets removed.
