First apologies for previously  posting in a hijacked thread, the excitement
was to much :-)

A suggestion to check junk/spam filters (gmail) was the problem solver. My
ISP has junk mail filters that I can manage with a web interface, I just
never do this, they expire naturally, its spam.

I could have sworn ' I was not at fault' but nope, list mail made it through
the filter, the confirmation to unsubscribe didn't.

I am following the list on 'nabble' with a '-nomail' option on this list
subscription.
