In Ubuntu 10.10 I downloaded the debian 32 bit 3.3.2 version from
LibreOffice.org , and in the terminal uninstalled the 3.3.1 and
installed the 3.3.2 version. In the About LibreOffice box it shows:
LibreOffice 3.3.2
OOO330m19 (Build:202)
tag libreoffice-3.3.2.2
To uninstall 3.3.1 I ran:
sudo apt-get remove libreoffice*.*
I did not uninstall 3.3.1 first.
If I should, then I will do that.
To install the office package I had the extracted downloaded folder on
the desktop and ran:
sudo dpkg -i
~/Desktop/LibO_3.3.2rc2_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US/DEBS/*.deb
to install the package and ran:
sudo dpkg -i
~/Desktop/LibO_3.3.2rc2_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US/DEBS/desktop-integration/libreoffice3.3-debian-menus_3.3-202_all.deb
to install the menus.
In 3.3.1, it was:
libreoffice3.3-debian-menus_3.3-8_all.deb instead of the
/libreoffice3.3-debian-menus_3.3-202_all.deb in 3.3.2

I wonder what is correct?
I just downloaded 3.3.2 for DEB x86-64.
After I installed it, I got the following in the "About LibreOffice"
in Writer, Calc, etc..
LibreOffice 3.3.1
OOO330m19 (Build:202)
tag libreoffice-3.3.1.2
YET
the latest version listed in the Synaptic Package Manager
showed 3.3.2-19 for everything except "debian-menus"
which was 3.3-202.
So this 3.3.2 download actually 3.3.2, or is it a new build for 3.3.1,
or there was a mistake in the "About LibreOffice" in the Help menus.
I would like to know.
The bit where the package manager shows it as 3.3.2-19 installed,
and not in the "about" list makes it a little confusing.
