Hi :) I guess the simple answer to your last question is; 1. Yes, it is normal 2. Yes, it is being processed 3. Yes, it will get updated in a few days time
LibreOffice Impress uses a different icon set and stuff but all that is normally outside the file. In the same way Writer uses different icons from Word on it's toolbars at the top of the screen too. Any pictures, logos, icons and all that inside the file should be the same in Impress as it was in any other program. It might be good to post a bug-report about this unless people are able to help you fix that. http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport You are part of the community working at improving LibreOffice just by using it. Also you are part of the wider linux community especially since you also use Ubuntu (or one of the Spanish distros developed from Ubuntu). People see you using it and feel more confident about using it themselves. Perhaps you even help people and learn from other people using it too. People often help without even realising it :) So, part of the thanks and congratulations for LibreOffice are due to you too. Good luck and regards from Tom :) ________________________________ From: rober <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Sun, 27 March, 2011 13:31:39 Subject: [libreoffice-users] questions Greetings from spain, first of all congratulations for the tremendous and laborious work has arisen I deem libreoffice is great, for the important contribution to the world of open source, and to make an office suite for all and quality is one step to change this corrupt world. My question is this, I am a medical student, and my studies force me to have a libreoffice use daily, and of course use and always use ubuntu, I would like to ask: there is something that will not change microsoft office ppt (color , icons ...)? And my other question if you do not mind, I have the official libreoffice repository, but I do not get libreoficce 3.3.2, it is normal later? are in the process?
