Hi :)

I think OpenOffice forums are better at dealing with Base questions as they
have
more Base experts answering questions over there.

I think this is an issue about a table that lacks an ID field. See these guides
http://www.inpics.net/tutorials/access2007/basics16.html
http://www.inpics.net/tutorials/base2/basics19.html

Hopefully that should fix it.
Good luck and regards from
Tom :)

Subject: [libreoffice-users] Can't add new tables - error msg

I developed a database in Access and "connected" then saved it into Base. I
can read my tables but when I go to add a new table I get the error "Could
not append colum: invalid column descriptor."

And when I click OK I get, "Error while saving the table design. Invalid
field definition "id' in definition of index or relationship"

I am running WinXP and Java 1.6.0_24

Thanks for the help
