To unsubscribe from the digest of this list send a message to:

To unsubscribe from the "nomail" version this list send a message to:

Please note, that you have to use the email-address that is subscribed to the
list.

So, to be clear:

1. Send an empty email to the unsubscribe address that is the correct one for
your case.
2. You will get an answer back, asking you if you're sure you want to
unsbuscribe.
3. Reply to this message by hitting the "reply" button in your email program.
4. You will get a "goodbye-message" confirming that you have been unsbuscribed.

There shouldn't be any more messages afterwards.

I trust that following those steps will help.

I think the proper users-unsubscribe... address should be written in the signature.

Another problem I have lived not too long ago: I wanted to unsubscribe from one of the list. The confirmation reply came about 2 hours later... except I was sleeping at 1:00 a.m. So I did not reply to the confirm message until the day after. So my unsubscribe command was rejected because I did not reply in a timely manner.

Welcome improvements would be:
– the same command should be used for the Digest and NoMail versions
– immediate reaction by the server
– unsubscription should happen ASAP, without any need to confirm. The worst case scenario would be someone who (is) unsubscribed by error: that person would simply need to resubscribe.
