Hmm. My java -version is exactly the same as yours. My first install of OOO was 3.2 I think. May be you have some residual stuff from your prior OOO install. What if you rename your personal settings LO and OO directorys (.libreoffice in my linux home directory, not sure where on my mac) which would have carried settings over and see if LO can create an all fresh setup. May be some inherited setting is causing the crash (non-existant font or format). steve
