Jonathon's question mentioned iOS. AFAIK, iOS refers to the operating system 
for the iPhone & iPad, which is not the same as Mac, so there are many programs 
not (yet?) available for it, and the requirements (both technical and, perhaps, 
licensing) are not the same.
