Hi Michael, there is a trick that should work if all your images are in the same directory.
First load the document and then save it into that directory. Now close the document. Move the images directory including the document inside to the new location. Open the document at the new location. Links should still work. Now, if you want to have the document at another place, just save it to that place. This should work as OO saves links to images relative if the images and the document are in the same file system. Hope that helps, Christian Am 08.05.2011 22:20, schrieb micha12345:
Hello folks, I have a huge presentation in impress which contains lots of images. Most of the images are linked i.e. saved in a special pictures-folder. The problem is that i have to move and rename the pictures-folder which would cause broken links in the presentation. It would be possible to repair the links in the "Edit links"-Dialog for every single picture. But this seems to be annoying task. Especially when I have to change the folder again. Do you have any Ideas how it is possible to change all or most of the links in the document at the same time? Maybe via a Macro? I'm even thinking about changing the link information directly in content.xml file which is contained in the odp. But I hope there are easier solutions. Thanks for your suggestions Greetings Michael -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Moving-linked-pictures-in-Impress-from-one-directory-to-another-tp2916339p2916339.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
