I understood the question and what you are trying to achieve, but unfortunately 
I don't know the answer. It might be in the Calc Guide, but if you haven't 
found it, then probably not. When we learn the answer, we should add it to the 
book. It must be a common requirement. 

The are some people around who are very knowledgeable about all things Calc, 
but they may not be reading this list, or not very often. I'll pass your note 
along to one of them and see if he knows.
