Dear Brian, Thank you for the reply. The Character > Font Effects > Hidden was something that had crossed my mind, but the problem is, such text don't show up until Non-printing characters are set to be visible under View menu (as explained in the http://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Formatting_Aids documentation as well). This however displays all those other symbols too!
Dear Cor, Thank you for putting the spark in my brain. Under Tools > Customize > Events I found this entry 'Print Document' which I believe will be invoked before the print dialogue is brought up. Here I can write a macro to change a variable to control the visibility of such sections. As of now I don't know if this will ever fly but I'm going to give it one big try :) -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/Hide-sections-from-printed-outputs-tp2953045p2955773.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to [email protected] Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/www/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
