LibreOffice was apparently put in the official repos in April. I think Synaptic is the package manager in PClinuxOS. Can you open Synaptic and use either search-tool to find libreoffice? It might want to re-download libreoffice. If you are not on a broadband with unlimited download there is a trick to get around that. Try going to the "File" menu and choose "Add downloaded packages" but it can be tricky to find where you have downloaded the files to so i tend to just re-download.
