Hi :) The 3.4.1 is really for early adopters only. It 'should' say that on the downloads pages but seems to be missing at the moment.
Please could you install the 3.3.3 instead, or alongside http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Installing_in_parallel The 3.3.3 is the latest stable version and has a full years support. The 3.4.1 will soon be out-dated anyway.
