Hi, everybody!

I would like to use LibreOffice (Calc or Base) to connect to a Firebird 2.1
database.

To do this, I installed the LibreOffice v3.3.3 on Windows XP, in addition to
the Firebird ODBC Driver (available at
http://www.firebirdsql.org/en/odbc-driver). I also made a new ODBC data
source to the Firebird database in the Windows control panel.

Then I created a database in Base and did the settings to connect to the
database using the ODBC source. The connection is OK, but when I try to
Access to a table or run a query, Base throws this message:

--------------------------------------------------
No se pudieron cargar los contenidos de los datos.
Fetch type out of range
--------------------------------------------------

And I can not see the results.

I thought about using JDBC, as I have read that allows you to connect more
easily. The problem is that I don't find documentation to configuring
Firebird JDBC connector (called Jaybird and available at
http://www.firebirdsql.org/en/jdbc-driver).

Either through ODBC or JDBC, I would like to access my database. I would
appreciate all the help you can provide.

Thanks.
