I have installed Suse 11.4 on a couple of computers and in both cases LibreOffice will run for root but not for ordinary users. It opens the splash-screen and the progress bar goes about ½” then it stops. When you click on the splash-screen it disappears. Running ps –ef | grep libre reveals 4 processes left running.
