Hi :) If its possible to avoid using the proprietary Ppt format that might help. Can you use Odp instead? I think Google-docs would be happier with it too.
The one to definitely avoid is PptX. Having said all that i don't think this is a formats issue. It sounds more likely that either Impress or Google-docs are adding the extra info to help track versions. There must be a simple setting somewhere but i don't know where. Hopefully someone else can help! When I take a presentation created in PowerPoint, open it in LibreOffice and save it as a PPT to be uploaded to Google Docs, the result is somewhere along the way, the current date gets added in a frame in the lower left hand corner of each slide in the presentation that shows up in GDocs. Anyone else have this happen? I would just use the uploader extension, but the Google account I use had a single sign-on for several items (ergo, I can directly sign into it, ergo I cannot use the uploader to send it to that particular account). -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
