Did you define the language of the document, either in its style (Format>Styles (Control-T)) or in direct formatting (Format>Character>Font>Language) ? When the dictionary is properly installed, it should have a v-sign next to it in the list of languages in Font-Language (as well as in the preferences page you mention >language settings>languages>standard language The language is a characteristic of the Character (letter in Dutch) and can be defined for a single word, a sentence, a paragraph or an entire text. Hope thie helps - or else try to explain more in detail what you do/whathappens. -- Guy using LibO 3.4.2 on a iMac Intel DualCore Lion -- please reply only to [email protected] -- Dodoes can't afford to have headaches -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
