Is everyone talking about the same site: <http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/>?
It is not clear that this site is hosted by Oracle. There was a problem like this in July and the issue was with services running at OSUOSL, the Open Source Laboratory at Oregon State University. Other parts of http://openoffice.org seem to be operating normally but there is some sluggishness. It looks like it would be prudent to capture the Extensions and Template content even if there is no new place to host it yet. - Dennis BACKGROUND There has been talk about hosting this elsewhere (looks like a good idea). I am not aware of any solution. There is some concern about what to do with material under licenses that are considered inappropriate for some distributions, etc. Since the domain name is Oracle's (and is being transferred to Apache), it would be good for all of those projects that rely on that location to put their heads together and come up with a solution that satisfies their common interests. -----Original Message----- From: Nuno J.
