When reading, I rarely use the vertical scroll bar. Much more often, I use the mouse wheel. Always, when I turn the wheel, there is a bubble at the right side of the desktop for several seconds that does nothing except hide my text. It contains the current page # and total pages, and sometimes the first? line on the page. At the bottom left of the desktop (on the Status? line) is the page # and total pages. How do I turn off the right-side bubble? For me, it serves no purpose.
