Hi :) To post a "feature request" or "wish-list" item this guide might have some useful points. http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport I would [put "[wishlist]" in the subject line along with 2 or 3 keywords so people know what the issue is about. Then one of the drop-downs, possibly "severity"(?) has an option such as "feature request" or something like that.
I agree that it helps to give a link to how to run terminal commands when giving command-line instructions but it's not always possible and sometimes might be seen as patronising. It's impossible to get the right balance every time but hopefully people are comfortable enough to ask for clarification if answers are not clear enough for them. The list can be very intimidating and unfriendly but some people here really do want to help. Copy and pasting the command is much easier than saying "click the icon that looks like a duck, it might be near the left if you have such-and-such configuration and screen size, now click the icon that looks like a telescope, which might not appear in your configuration, now right click and look in the ZXC submenu for the QWERTY item"... > for me it's not bad if libreoffice adds new feature like style > (http://dhdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/Gwenview-snapshot05.png) > right? it's not pain right? > Gwen is an image-viewing application, not an office suite. I would expect it to have an export feature, but I would not expect that of an office suite. > do you think if libreoffice offers export various so users don't like it?not > users will like it and download it.. > I think that your idea would make a terrific plugin, but is not suitable for the core application. But that is only my own opinion. If you feel that the feature is justified then go ahead and file a RFE. -- Dotan Cohen http://gibberish.co.il http://what-is-what.com -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
