I found an on-line validator at <http://www.document-interoperability.com/validator> When I fed it the original OfficeSuite-created file, it said, Inspecting ZIP ... Entry with MIME type "application/vnd.openxmlformats-package.core-properties+xml" has unrecognized relationship type "http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/package/2006/relationships/metadata/core-properties"; (see ISO/IEC 29500-1:2008, Clause 15.2.12.1) 1 problem found with OPC package The one which resulted when I opened the original in 2010 Office and did a "Save As" gave this: Checking OPC Package ...
