Well, darned if I can find the original post.

But - most likely it is a case of missing Primary Key on the table you
are trying to modify. Editing a table with the Base GUI requires that
the table have a primary key - no exceptions.

BTW - I did a little testing with Postgresql/Base 3.4.4 last night as I
start to write a little FAQ on connecting with ODBC and JDBC in response
to another question from the other day - editing is working for me here
(OpenSUSE 11.04, Ubutnu 11.04, LibreOfice 3.4.4, Postgres 9)
