Hi :)
When you look at the lists and archives with Nabble the email addresses are not 
shown.  Of course that makes it difficult to do off-list messages for things 
that wouldn't be appropriate for a particular thread.

Indeed, all emails sent to the list are archived and publicly
accessible.  You can access those archives here:
http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/

Email addresses are in clear text, so unfortunately, it is possible
that a company could get your address from these archives.
