Indeed there are some things that can be improved in this dialog.
I remember some other discussions too in this area.
E.g. about the fact that settings are preserved over consequent uses of
the dialog, however not shows ;-)
And about partly different behaviour in various modules.
Would you be interested to have a look at those, so that your suggestion
can become part of ...
In that case I'dd be happy to look through the archives for the links.
