Backspace key behaves correctly in Calc and in Writer. In the Basic IDE,
however, it "eats" the character to the right of the cursor. Should eat
the character to the left of the cursor.
Strange Backspace key in your situation ;-)
LO 3.4.4 (also observed in 3.4.3) on Windows XP, US English, Microsoft
Natural Keyboard.
No probs on Linux with 3.4.4 (and previous). So maybe Windows issue??
Ciao,
Could it be your "MS Natural Keyboard"? I had a friend who dumped that
keyboard in the trash because she had some issues with the non-letter
keys not working correctly sometimes.
I have never use one before, since I do not touch type, since I cannot
use some of my fingers enough to type that way. My stroke again. I had
to take typing for after my first stroke and my instructor said that not
having use of some of my fingers was not an excepted excuse for not
typing properly in her class. She tried to fail me until I told the
head of her department that if I was failed because of not being able to
use those fingers "properly" after my stroke, then the school was
violating my rights under the American Disability Act or 1984. I was
required to take typing, since it every student in that college was
required to take typing, for some reason.
