There may be a workaround for that. Insert a section consisting of
your first page. On your second page, insert another section; on the
Section tab of the Insert Section dialogue, tick Link and select the
name of your first-page section from the drop-down list for Section.
Now any change to your first page will appear also in the copy on your
second page: you need make each change only once. You may need to use
Tools | Update > | Links to force an update.
That's not to say it wouldn't be better if you didn't have to do this ...

Thanks for that suggestion, Brian. It's well worth trying. I've used
sections in this way before, but it's not something that I think of
until prompted by someone else!
I'll give it a go tomorrow.
