I opened the file (no repair) with OpenOffice.  I uninstalled LibreOffice
v3.4 and installed v3.3.  The file opened fine with this version (no need of
repair).
LO is always in development, it is like a living breathing thing advancing all the time. I use 3.3.4 in our business for most stable results. I monitor 3.4.4 on my non-critical laptop to determine from the needs of our business when I should move to another version.
Try 3.3.4.
