Thank you, Tom. What you suspect is what I've suspected also. Which takes me back to square one. If I want to edit the file I'm storing on the tablet, then LibreOffice will autosave back to the tablet, which will access the SD too much for my comfort.
I guess, unless somebody else chimes in, it's back to brute force: load and edit from the PC, then do a SAVE AS to the tablet. Clunky and inelegant. A program of LibreOffice's caliber should be able to automate what I'm trying to do.
