Create a page style (Style A) that has two columns for the first page of your chapter and another page style for the rest of the chapter (Style B). When you create Style A, you list Style B as the page style to follow Style A. You also select Style B to follow Style B. At the end of each chapter, do a page break selecting Style A as the next page style.
