Hi people, I had the same problem as Carole. Am running Windows7 64bit I have never used Libre Office before. So the error message is quite perplexing. I have tried a few times with no luck. Both re downloading and running the setup.exe from the unpack folder.
Then the penny dropped. I have Open Office installed on this PC. So just end the Open Office Quickstarter as per previous reply and it installed very quickly. Have not had a chance to look at everything yet, but hope this helps someone.
