Hi John,
Install LibreOffice. When you execute LibreOffice, click
File/Open. Then select the pdf file you wish to open. LibreOffice will
then open the pdf as a slide in LibreOffice-Impress. LibreOffice-Impress
is very similar to Microsoft Office's Powerpoint. Modify what you need.

Hi,
I checked the FAQs and the forum and did not find any subject lines containing exactly
"editing pdf files", so I am sending this email. I have a pdf file consisting
of forms with numbers and text in various boxes. I would like to edit some of the
numbers. Do you know if this is possible using LibreOffice? According to this entry
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PDF_software, it would appear to be possible. I
wanted to confirm this before downloading and installing LibreOffice.
thanks very much,
