I'm creating the OLE objects from Insert/Object/OLE object, so I'm presuming they're embedded. I'm not quite sure where this is. Other graphics appear just fine. I've cut out everything except a couple of pages and made it available for download here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17999770/LOProbs1.odt. If anyone can think of a solution I'd appreciate it as a) I'd really like to use vector graphics for my thesis and b) Importing the svg files I've created using draw screws with the text. I suspect Writer is having a problem with the fonts. -- And just to add insult to injury, all the graphs I've carefully spend a couple of days' work creating are now in the same situation. Argh!
