Hi :) 1st try clicking on "Cancel" so that the program does NOT try to recover the file. Hopefully the file should be fine anyway or you have a recent back-up somewhere or copy you emailed to someone or something like that.
2nd try hunting around in the folder the file is in to find a similar file-name but that has had ~lock added into it's name. You will need to be able to see hidden files. In Xp that would have been (from the folder window) Tools - "Folder Options" - View - "Show hidden files and folders" 3rd try hunting around in your User Profile to find the ~lock file. I think in the Back-ups folder. Again it will not show unless you "show hidden files and folders" http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/UserProfile Just delete the ~lock file and that should clear the problem.
