Hi all! I'm constantly having difficulties with image positioning while writing my thesis. To position images in the way I want it has to be anchored to the page, but adding something in front of there makes an image standing still (this behaviour is expected, it's ok).
I thought that a small modification, like anchoring the image not directly to the page, but to the page inside the section could make the life much better, because when you add something to the different section the image moves with section it belongs. Simple example. We have two sections: Section1 - page 1-3 Section2 - page 4-6 Image1 is located on page 5 (so it belongs to Section2). If the content is added to Section1, so it takes now pages 1-4, Image1 have to move from page 5 to page 6, because all the Section2 content have moved from page 4-6 to page 5-7. I can imagine the situation, when somebody don't want to move the image with the section, so my preposition is to add the checkbox in the "Type" tab of Picture, Frame etc. menu (and inside the style options to!) to allow the image anchoring inside the section. Do you think this idea is good? or there is other simple way to achieve the goal?
