We are using Windows XP, SP3. Applications and user's files are stored on the network. I'm able to install LO 3.4.2 to the network, and I'm able to distribute the applications to various users. However, the Write Path for users' files and temp files shows the C: drive.
Is there a way to have those paths changed to use network variables? We use 'DEPT' and 'USER' or 'DEPTNAME' and 'USERNAME' for our login variables. I know that the registrymodifications.xcu can be edited each time a new user signs on, but is there a way to use variables in the xcu file? I've tried putting the variables in quotes, or enclosing them with percent (%) signs, but neither of those options work. -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/LO-3-4-2-network-variables-tp3985623.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
